The Fourth National Welding Standardization Technical Committee Weld Test and Inspection Sub-Technical Committee General Meeting and the First Plenary Meeting were successfully held

On November 13, 2023, the general meeting of the Weld Test and Inspection Sub-Technical Committee of the National Welding Standardization Technical Committee and the first general meeting of all members were successfully held in Hefei, Anhui Province. The conference was hosted by Shanghai Materials Research Institute Co., Ltd. and co-organized by National Energy Group Science and Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. Tan Xiangning, deputy chief engineer of China Machinery Industry Federation, and Yang Yuting, chairman and party secretary of Harbin Welding Research Institute Co., Ltd. of China Machinery General Institute Group, were invited to attend the meeting. China's independent research and development of laser intelligent welding technology successfully realized the industrialization of nuclear power engineering

On April 28, the first pass rate of welding ray inspection of the steel lining cylinder of the containment shell of the reactor building of Tianwan Nuclear Power Unit 7 was 100. This is another successful application of the laser intelligent tracking MAG welding technology independently developed by my country after the implementation of the Hualong No. 1 nuclear power project. So far, this technology has achieved stable welding of more than 3000 meters in domestic nuclear power construction, it marks the successful realization of autonomy and industrialization of another technology in the key core construction of nuclear power in China, and provides a strong guarantee for the high-quality development of China's nuclear industry and the "going out" of nuclear power.
