"National Engineering Research Center of high efficiency welding new technology" was approved by the State Planning Commission in 1995 and completed in 2002. It is a national innovation platform. The main tasks of the engineering center are: to carry out supporting research and development of technology, equipment and materials around the welding process system, to develop efficient and high-quality welding processes, to develop complete sets of automatic equipment for welding machinery with independent intellectual property rights, and to develop new welding materials; to carry out complete engineering and integrated transformation of the technological research results in the field of advanced welding processes and equipment, and to continuously introduce new products with market competitiveness; provide first-class engineering products and standardized technology for the development of my country's advanced welding technology and equipment, and transfer advanced welding technology and equipment required for a number of national key projects; cultivate a high-quality talent team.
